Students from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), University of Ilorin (Unilorin), and Covenant University have been celebrated for their innovative contributions to blockchain technology at the DecaHack competition in Nigeria.

The event, sponsored by Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) and organized by ICP.Hub Sahara in partnership with the Cryptography Development Initiative in Nigeria (CDIN), recognized standout projects developed by university representatives.

The DecaHack pitch event, held at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja, showcased a diverse range of blockchain applications, including decentralized blogging platforms and AI-powered trading bots.

Adedayo Adebajo, co-founder of ICP.Hub Sahara, announced that five exceptional projects were selected by a panel of experts from a pool of 15 presented.
