Truck carrying cows to Enugu overturns on Kano flyover

A truck transporting cattle from Wudil to Enugu has overturned on the Maiduguri Road flyover in Kano.

The truck was carrying 28 cows, along with sheep, onions, and dates.

One of the passengers on board the truck, Hashim Rabiu Tamburawa, said that the truck had left Wudil for Enugu, but on reaching the flyover at Hotoro, the vehicle somersaulted.

Emergency responders, including police officers, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials, and state fire service personnel, quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.

Injured individuals were taken to Sir Sanusi Hospital in Yan Kaba for treatment.

Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported from the incident.
